Job Description:
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Nurse Specialist to support patients and families from diagnosis through the cancer journey. The CNS will use advanced communication and psychological assessment to identify distress and arrange onward referrals as needed.
The role includes education and specialist advice to patients, carers and staff, acting as a resource for the MDT, and promoting person-centred care within the cancer pathway.
