Overview

In this role you will formulate and actively manage a bond-focused portfolio to hit targets, while conducting market analysis and delivering insights. You will work within the Branch to align investment activity with the team’s objectives and broader firm goals. You will evaluate new issues, monitor credit conditions, and support the department head with tasks as needed. This is an analytics- and Mandarin-driven fixed income position at a central London office, offering growth through hands-on portfolio management and market reporting.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and manage bond investment strategy to achieve targets
• Perform market analysis, provide updates and portfolio reports
• Search for new issues and complete credit reports
• Monitor portfolio credit conditions and fulfill post-investment duties
• Assist with tasks assigned by the department head

Key requirements

• Fluent Mandarin
• Solid experience in bond investment
• Hands-on with analytical tools and professional trading applications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, or Engineering/Maths with strong quantitative focus
• Goal-oriented and flexible with rotation of job functions
• Familiar with formal business writing
