Overview

As an MEP BIM Coordinator, you will manage the federated model across mechanical, electrical, and public health disciplines from design through construction. You will chair coordination reviews, ensure naming and standards consistency, and keep outputs aligned with project milestones. You act as the coordination hub, verifying that clashes are resolved before site and that communication between disciplines remains open. This remote role offers flexibility while delivering high-quality BIM workflows that support project delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP models across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, public health) through design and construction
• Run and maintain the federated BIM model
• Chair coordination reviews and ensure timely decisions
• Enforce naming conventions, standards, and project outputs
• Identify and resolve clashes before construction
• Maintain cross-discipline communication and BIM workflow discipline
• Keep BIM outputs consistent across projects

Key requirements

• Experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
• Strong understanding of MEP in a 3D BIM environment
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage BIM workflows
• Proven track record in clash detection and coordination
• Experience managing models through design and construction stages
• Knowledge of maintaining model standards and naming conventions
• Experience with remote working and coordinating teams
