Learning and Development Business Partner

Location: Rushden – Hybrid working available with travel to sites and officesHours: 37.5 per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across Kier to build and embed competency frameworks and create technical learning pathways that develop capability across the business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our people have the skills and support they need to thrive and deliver excellence.

What will you be responsible for?

• -Partnering with subject matter experts to develop and maintain competency frameworks using industry insights and best practice
• -Developing and managing the competency assessment system, using data to identify gaps and produce recommendations
• -Creating learning solutions and programmes for business-critical disciplines and areas where development is needed
• -Collaborating on career pathway development and ensuring training is prioritised and linked effectively
• -Measuring ROI, reviewing programme effectiveness and providing insights to stakeholders

You have demonstrable experience in learning design, able to translate technical subject matter into engaging, practical learning solutions

• -You have experience in competency design and assessment, including supporting structured approaches to evidencing skills and knowledge
• -You’re confident in interpreting competency data, identifying trends and creating meaningful reporting
• -You’re a natural collaborator who can work with technical leaders and stakeholders to shape relevant, scalable learning
• -You can manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and deadlines while supporting behavioural and process change
