HGV Technician
Location: Livingston
Salary: £42,000 per year – OTE £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate
Bonus: 6-Monthly Profit Share

Your Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping a modern fleet operating safely and efficiently by carrying out:
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Vehicle inspections and safety checks
- MOT preparation and presentation
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
- Completion of all workshop paperwork to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this HGV Technician role, you’ll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
- Class 1 licence (desirable but not essential)
