Senior Placement Broker

Overview

In this role, you support Marsh’s FINPRO team in London by leading D&O and Crime placements for overseas clients, primarily major US and ASX-listed companies. You will collaborate with global colleagues to craft London market solutions and manage end-to-end placement processes. You’ll coordinate renewals, ensure accurate MRCs/slips, and build strong underwriter relationships while contributing to innovative insurance solutions for the global network. This hybrid role pairs in-office collaboration with cross-border client service and market insight.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead placing broker for large, complex D&O and Crime placements from start to finish
• Provide exceptional service to overseas colleagues by sourcing London market solutions and delivering updates
• Ensure renewal and new business deadlines are met and supervise creation/accuracy of MRCs/slips
• Develop strong relationships with Marsh’s global retail broker network and London underwriters
• Collaborate with the wider team to create and roll out innovative insurance solutions across the global network

Key requirements

• Technical knowledge of D&O and other Financial Lines; solid understanding of Lloyd’s and the London market
• Experience in broking, underwriting, or claims with a focus on Financial Lines
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for global stakeholder interactions
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex placements and renewal dates
