Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing technology business that has expanded through a number of acquisitions. With several entities now part of the group, they are building a central FP&A function to bring planning, reporting and analysis together across the business.

The role

Reporting into an experienced, hands-on FP&A leader, the FP&A Analyst will support the core business segments with planning, reporting and insight. It’s a chance to join a function as it’s being shaped and to gain broad exposure across a multi-entity group.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, regular forecasts and longer-term planning
• Review the P&L and analyse variances across business segments
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting
• Provide pricing and cost analysis to support commercial decisions
• Work with commercial and operational teams to explain performance
• Help streamline reporting as entities are integrated into the group
• Work alongside an outsourced finance function to ensure data accuracy

About you

• Experience in FP&A or commercial finance, ideally within SaaS or technology
• Understanding of SaaS metrics, or a strong interest in developing it
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous
• A data-driven approach and confident communication with non-finance stakeholders
• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or an equivalent level of experience
• Experience in a group or multi-entity environment is a plus
