ERP Data Analyst

Overview

In this role you will act as the analytical backbone for manufacturing operations, owning ERP/MRP system management and continuous development to support growth. You will bridge data and decision-making by turning cross-functional data into clear insights for senior leaders. You will collaborate across Production, Finance, Logistics and Purchasing to design workflows that improve efficiency and break down silos. The position emphasizes data governance, dashboards, and training to boost data literacy and operational excellence. This is a chance to shape how data drives manufacturing performance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Owner and develop day-to-day ERP/MRP system management and configuration
• Collaborate with IT on upgrades, module customization and feature scaling
• Act as internal consultant across departments to design workflows
• Build, maintain and automate dashboards, KPIs, and reports
• Ensure data integrity through governance, audits, and data cleaning
• Create training materials and run onboarding sessions to improve data literacy

Key requirements

• Experience configuring and developing ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing/engineering
• Professional experience/qualification in Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
• Strong understanding of BOM, inventory control, demand planning, production scheduling
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel
• Natural problem-solver with attention to detail and ability to identify root causes
• Ability to visualize workflows and assess ERP impact across departments
