Senior Technical Manager

Overview

As Senior Technical Manager, you will steer technical delivery for a major London, multi-phase residential scheme. You’ll lead a team of Design Managers and set technical direction across the masterplan, from early design through Stage 3 onwards. Your role bridges development, construction and commercial teams to ensure coherent design and compliance for 1,500+ homes and associated external works. This position offers influence over a flagship project and the chance to shape delivery on a high-profile London site. You’ll thrive in a senior, collaborative environment with a focus on governance and integration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across a large multi-phase residential development
• Coordinate and develop a team of Design Managers
• Provide technical direction and governance through Stage 3 and beyond
• Coordinate consultant and design teams across the masterplan
• Collaborate with development, construction and commercial teams
• Oversee technical aspects for Phase 1 and Gateway applications
• Ensure integration of external works and community infrastructure within the wider scheme

Key requirements

• Experience at Senior Technical Manager or Technical Director level on large-scale residential developments
• Proven ability to manage people and complex technical interfaces
• Track record coordinating design and consultancy teams
• Experience with gateway processes and multi-stage project delivery
• London-based or willing to operate in London
