Consultant Financial Services

Overview

In this Consultant role at Delta Capita, you will support a major financial services transformation programme within a banking environment. You will work across business and technology teams to drive change initiatives, operational enhancements, and project delivery. You will coordinate stakeholders, gather requirements, and support governance, reporting, and training activities. You will help identify risks and opportunities for automation and AI-enabled improvements, contributing to continuous process improvement. This is an early-career opportunity in a collaborative, client-focused setting with a clear path to develop in financial services consulting.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of business transformation and change initiatives across financial services operations
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to track milestones, actions, and dependencies
• Gather and maintain business requirements, process maps, and project documentation
• Assist with operational reviews and workflow optimization
• Support governance activities including status reporting and stakeholder communications
• Analyse operational data and prepare management information for decision-making
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and technology teams
• Support user adoption, training, and change management activities
• Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks and escalate appropriately
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using automation and AI-enabled solutions

Key requirements

• Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, consulting, or regulated environments
• Exposure to project coordination, business change, transformation, operations, or process improvement
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
• Ability to analyse processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable producing reports, presentations, and project documentation
