Your new companyn Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Part-Time HR Assistant on a temporary basis for an initial 12-week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to gain further experience within a busy and supportive HR team while contributing across a broad range of generalist HR activities.Your new rolen Reporting to the HR team, you will provide administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle. This varied role will suit someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a range of HR processes.n Key responsibilities will include:n – Supporting day-to-day HR administration activitiesn – Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processesn – Preparing contracts, offer letters and employee documentationn – Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systemsn – Supporting absence management and employee relations administrationn – Responding to HR related queries from managers and employeesn – Assisting with policy updates and HR projects as requiredn – Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures and data protection requirementsWhat you'll need to succeedn – Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator or similar HR support role- Strong administrative and organisational skillsn – Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyn – Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsn – Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applicationsn – A proactive and professional approach to workn – Availability to start at short notice or immediatelyWhat you'll get in returnn Competitive hourly rateFlexible part-time working arrangement (2-3 days per week)n Central Glasgow location with excellent transport linksn Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive HR teamn Immediate start available
