Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting chefs with basic food preparation and ensuring all kitchen areas meet hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and workstations.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the chefs.
• Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
• Dispose of waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Help maintain a safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Right to work in the UK.
