Process Operatives (3-shift rotation)

Due to present business needs we have vacancies for Production Operatives. Successful applicants will be trained to work as skilled operatives within production – all positions are on a 3 shift rotation (nights, lates, earlies).

Essential Criteria:

• Numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, with an eagerness to learn
• Manual dexterity
• Flexible, organised and motivated
• Ability to work to effectively unsupervised and on own initiative, in an efficient manner
• Ability to work in a team, with a positive and can-do attitude
• Ability to work the hours of the department you are placed in – applicants must be able to do all 3 shifts in rotation

Desirable Criteria:

• Relevant factory experience

Rate of pay:

Training rate: £14.65 per hour (£16.60 per hour when on night shift).

When trained the rate will increase, and as skills develop there are further opportunities to move up in rate of pay

Interviews will be arranged on an on-going basis until positions are filled.

There are no single shift positions. Previous applicants in the last 6 months should not apply again.
