Overview

As a Sr. Delivery Consultant with AWS Professional Services, you design, implement, and manage complex AWS solutions for customers to meet technical and business goals. You act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, guiding migrations, optimization, and risk management. You collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and share best practices, aiming to drive successful cloud journeys. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise cloud outcomes and shape customer adoption at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge via mentoring, training, and reusable artifacts

Key requirements

• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience in cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience in customer-facing, large-scale project management
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed environments
• Experience leading migration and transformation programs
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies
• Experience in large-scale data center to data center or data center to cloud migrations
• Application discovery and dependency mapping
• Migration tooling (Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service, Migration Hub)
• Cutover planning and execution
