Senior Outpatients Healthcare Support Worker & Mentor

NHS Orkney is seeking a Senior Healthcare Support Worker in Outpatients at The Balfour. The role involves clinical duties such as phlebotomy, recording vital signs, ophthalmology testing and imaging, and assisting with pre-operative assessments and minor operations.

You will work with autonomy within protocols and support less experienced staff, while maintaining confidentiality and infection prevention standards. The post is part-time (27.5 hours/week) and permanent, with UK residency required.
