NURSERY PRACTITIONER JOB IN TOTTERDOWN, BRISTOL

Early Years Academy is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioners for a day nursery in Totterdown.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, supporting children’s individual development and helping young children build confidence and independence.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality childcare and early education for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Encourage children’s communication, confidence, independence and social development.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment.
- Observe and support children’s individual learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver excellent childcare.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
- A good understanding of the EYFS.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
Previous nursery experience is desirable.
