Senior Value Engineer (Supply Chain & Manufacturing)

Overview

As a Senior Value Engineer at Celonis, you will lead the end-to-end value journey for top Fortune 500 customers, translating strategic priorities into actionable use cases and ROI. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor blending technology and business acumen, crafting demos and business cases, and guiding workshops to secure long-term partnerships. You’ll prototype AI-enabled solutions with SQL/Python and present outcomes to C-level executives. This role sits in the UK Value Engineering team, partnering with Sales to scale value through adoption and renewal.

Responsibilities

• Identify and frame value by translating customer priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases
• Advise on how Celonis fits into IT landscape and AI strategy
• Build demos and business cases leveraging benchmarks to win customers
• Use SQL/Python to build AI prototypes showcasing Celonis capability
• Communicate value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-level executives
• Facilitate value workshops and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Derive improvement measures and drive enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Manage end-to-end customer value journey: landing, expanding, adopting, renewing
• Develop strategic expansion roadmaps embedding Celonis as a transformation platform
• Provide feedback to product teams to enhance the Celonis platform and apps

Key requirements

• Knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g. SAP)
• Hands-on SQL and/or Python
• Experience collaborating with IT teams
• Experience developing dashboards and automations (PowerBI or RPA)
• Knowledge of AI-powered solutions
• Analytical experience demonstrating or securing value through data
• Customer-facing experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering or IT/Management Consulting, ideally with a SaaS provider
• Experience in process improvement and change initiatives
• Project management experience across multiple accounts
• Executive stakeholder management and strong communication skills
• Business domain expertise in Finance and/or Supply Chain
• Industry expertise in manufacturing, automotive, consumer, retail, pharma, or chemicals
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics or comparable technical field
