Overview

As Chief Financial Officer, you will provide strategic financial leadership within LDLT, guiding the trust’s financial, operational and governance functions. You will work with the CEO and Trust Board to drive growth, sustainability and school improvement across 14 primary schools. You will lead a cross-functional team and oversee estates, procurement, HR and digital strategy, shaping how resources support communities and learners. This is a values-driven role that blends financial rigor with collaborative leadership in education.

Responsibilities

• Strategic financial leadership across the trust, ensuring robust financial management and long-term sustainability
• Lead and develop the finance, estates, procurement, HR and digital strategy teams
• Oversee governance processes and support school improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the CEO and Trust Board to shape growth and resource allocation
• Travel to schools and sites as required; hybrid working arrangement

• Significant senior financial leadership experience
