Site Reliability Engineering Specialist

Overview

In this role you will act as the TSA Responsible Person, ensuring compliance with the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 for a critical platform in the Enterprise Voice team. You will integrate security controls, governance, and risk management across engineering, security, architecture and compliance to support audits and regulatory reviews. You will lead risk identification, remediation, and vulnerability management while embedding controls in projects and operations. This position offers the chance to shape regulatory compliance practices in telecoms and contribute to secure, reliable emergency and directory services.

Responsibilities

• Act as TSA Responsible Person and ensure compliance with the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 and related requirements
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and remediation across the platform
• Support vulnerability management, security patching, compliance reporting and audit preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and security stakeholders to embed security controls in projects and processes
• Maintain documentation, risk assessments and evidence for regulatory reviews and assurance activities
• Support security incident management and regulatory reporting obligations when required

Key requirements

• Experience in telecoms, cyber security, network operations or security governance within a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of risk management, security controls, incident response and regulatory compliance
• Experience supporting audits, evidence gathering and remediation tracking
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills with the ability to influence across multiple teams
