Senior/Principal EIA Consultant

Overview

In this role you will lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and related environmental due diligence for major development proposals, across data centres, industrial, and property sectors. You will work within Ramboll’s UK Impact Assessment team to drive sustainable change through all project stages, collaborating with multi-disciplinary peers and engaging clients. You’ll manage reporting, data interpretation, and stakeholder communications, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development. Responsibilities

• Project management and coordination of environmental baseline data collection and interpretation, advising clients on constraints and opportunities
• Report writing for due diligence, EIA screening & scoping, Environmental Statements, and related environmental reports; managing spatial data figures
• Coordinate and manage technical and commercial aspects of project delivery
• Support Impact Assessment business development, including proposals, tenders, and marketing materials
• Mentor junior team members and support team leadership
• Develop relationships with Ramboll colleagues, suppliers, and clients
• Engage with clients in meetings and networking events

Key requirements

• Relevant project delivery experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Keen on professional development and progression
• Bachelor in Environmental Sciences; Master’s in an environmental discipline is advantageous
• Understanding of UK environmental consenting processes and EIA regulations
