Senior Marine AUV Glider Engineer On-Site Fixed-Term

Newcastle University is recruiting a Senior Research Associate to lead mechanical, electrical and hydraulic design for the autonomous ECHO glider project. The role is based in the Newcastle Marine Autonomous Vehicle Lab and Blyth Marine Station, with hands-on prototyping and field testing.

The candidate will supervise research activities, contribute to publications, manage lab operations and collaborate across disciplines.
