Security Guard – Bury, Manchester

• Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
• Pay Rate: £14.62 per hour

We are currently recruiting an experienced and professional Security Guard to join a major project based in Bury, Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring site activity, controlling access, and ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and securing the site
• Controlling access and checking all personnel and visitors
• Carrying out regular patrols and security checks
• Reporting any incidents, suspicious activity or security concerns
• Maintaining accurate site and security records
• Following all site health, safety and security procedures
• Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold the following:

• A valid Door Supervisor SIA License, obtained at least three months prior to the site start date
• First Aid at Work qualification

We will provide the following training

• EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
• EUSR SHEA Water qualification
• A valid DBS check, obtained within one week prior to starting on site and renewed every 6 months
• Willingness to complete the required Project Induction, including a Drug & Alcohol test
• Training in GDPR regulations
• Defibrillator training
