It’s a real chance to get in early at a firm where your voice counts.What you’ll doLead electrical design across RIBA stages: LV distribution, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security and containmentProduce and check calculations, specifications, schematics and tender packagesBring electrical expertise to low carbon and net zero strategies, including PV, battery storage and EV chargingCoordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and design teams in a BIM environmentAttend client and design team meetings, carry out site inspections and witness testingMentor junior engineers and review their workWhat you’ll needDegree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services EngineeringStrong consultancy design experience at senior levelSolid knowledge of BS 7671, BS 5839, BS 5266 and CIBSE guidanceAmtech, DIALux/Relux and AutoCAD; Revit MEP is a strong plusConfident running projects and client relationshipsIEng/CEng, or working towards it, desirableWhat’s on offerCompetitive salary based on experiencePension, holiday, bonusDirect access to the directors and real influence on the businessSupport towards chartershipClear progression as the office grows
