Principal Salesforce Engineer/ Technical Lead (Lead II – Enterprise Solutions)

Overview

In this role you will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of a strategic Salesforce platform within a leading Asset Management environment. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership and stakeholder engagement to drive enterprise-scale Salesforce initiatives. You will explore emerging capabilities such as Data Cloud, AI, and Agentforce to shape the platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence a mission-critical asset management platform and collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and evolution of the Salesforce platform for enterprise-scale initiatives
• Provide hands-on engineering while guiding the team on best practices and architecture
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Oversee CI/CD and DevOps practices (Git, Copado, Gearset) and ensure secure, reliable deployments
• Promote adoption of emerging Salesforce capabilities such as Data Cloud, AI, and Agentforce
• Build and maintain strong architectural governance and security/data modeling standards
• Drive transformation initiatives and collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders
• Support Salesforce CRM initiatives and ensure alignment with asset management domain requirements

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams and delivering complex programmes
• Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Visualforce, and API integrations
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, data models, and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools
• Ability to influence stakeholders and translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Exposure to Data Cloud and Agentforce is highly desirable
• Salesforce CRM prior experience
• Certifications Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
