Project Finance Associate (2-3 PQE) | International Law Firm | Bristol
We are working with a leading international law firm on a position within their well-regarded Projects team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior associate to join a high-calibre team working on complex, cross-border projects, with early responsibility working exclusively on London and International matters from the Bristol office.
The team advises lenders, sponsors, developers, development finance institutions and export credit agencies on the development and financing of energy, natural resources and infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and emerging markets. Work spans renewables, conventional power, mining, energy transition and PPP infrastructure, covering project financings, joint ventures and project development.
This position would suit a candidate with:
- 2-3 years’ post-qualified experience in project finance at a leading City, national or international law firm
- Experience acting for lenders and/or sponsors on energy, renewables or infrastructure financings
- Exposure to emerging markets, DFI or PPP transactions would be an advantage
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to manage workstreams on complex, multi-party transactions
- Ambition to develop within a high-calibre team over the longer term
- The role is based in Bristol, though exceptional candidates based in London will also be considered.
