Nursery Nurse

We’re seeking a Passionate Part‑Time Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in Acton (W3 8GJ). The role offers a salary of £25,500 to £27,000 (Pro Rata) and is based 2 minutes from South Acton Station.

Key details: Part‑time (2–3 full days, 20–30 hrs per week), Monday to Friday, year‑round shifts (7:30‑6:30 pm). Early and late shifts available.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and activities for children in a safe, stimulating environment.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in line with nursery policy.
• Observe and record each child’s progress, supporting their development and learning journey.
• Ensure children are never left unsupervised.
• Participate in the key person system and maintain up‑to‑date learning profiles for your key children.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers and assist with parent meetings and open days.
• Support the safety, security, and cleanliness of the nursery environment.

Person Specification

• Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and nursery experience.
• Key person experience.
• First Aid qualified.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS and references.
