MandarinspeakingDeputyHeadofFinanceandAccounting-WhatYou’llbeDoing:
- ManagethedailyreconciliationandproductcontrolprocessesfortheBranch,includingvaluationadjustmentsandFXmovements.Challengeirregularities,ensuringtheTrialBalanceanddailyreportsarefullyreconciled,documentedandissuesresolvedinanexpedientway;
- OverseathepreparationoffinancialreportsforManagement,HeadOfficeandLocalRegulators(e.g.PRA/FCA),andotherinternal/externalstakeholders;
- Reviewperiodicmanagementinformation,liquiditymetrics,andexplanationsofmaterialvariances;
- SupporttheFinancialPlanning&Analysisforthebranchtoensureaccurateandinformativebudgetsandforecastingareprepared,anddevelopsuitablemetricstotrackandanalysevariances;
- Leadmonthlymanagementreportingprocesses,ensuringaccuracyandefficiencyinmonth-endclose,ensuringthevalueofvariancesarecaptured,withcauseandstepstoresolve,whereappropriate;
- Ensureallsubmissionsmeetbothtechnicalrequirementsandprescribedtimelines;
- Reviewandmaintainthebranch’saccounting,liquidity,tax,andregulatorycomplianceframeworksinlinewithHOandlocalstandards,ensuringdetailedpolicy,processesandproceduresareavailable;
- Maintainandoverseefixedassetandaccountspayablesystems;ensuretimelyandaccurateexpenseprocessing;
- Supporttheinternalorexternalauditprocessinconjunctiontoensuredataandresponsesareproducedwithintherequireddeadlines;
- UndertakeprojectsorassignmentsasassignedbytheBranchCFO;
- MaintainadetailedrecordofContinuousProfessionalDevelopmentinsupportofprofessionalqualifications.

- Solidexperienceinaseniorfinancemanagerrolewithinawholesalebankingorfinancialservices.
- DetailedknowledgeofwholesalebankingproductsandUKbankingregulatoryframeworks.
- DemonstrateacomprehensiveunderstandingofIFRS9.
- Leadershipandmanagementexperience,withinamulticulturalenvironment.
- Strongexperienceinmanagementaccounting,financialreporting,budgeting,andinternalcontrols.
- Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithcross-borderteamsandnavigateHeadOfficeexpectations.
