Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to once again be supporting a global specialist manufacturer in Huddersfield to recruit a Production Shift Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-paced business and take charge of driving productivity, quality, H&S and continuous improvement across the shift.Monday – Friday, days/afters£45,000 – £48,000

Key Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:

• Lead and motivate production teams to achieve daily and long-term operational targets
• Ensure products are manufactured to the correct specification, quality standards and efficiency levels
• Monitor performance data and drive improvements using KPIs
• Analyse downtime and work closely with Maintenance to improve equipment performance
• Manage labour planning to meet production schedules while controlling costs
• Provide clear communication and effective handovers between shifts
• Take full responsibility for health and safety on shift, ensuring compliance with policies
• Develop, coach and upskill your team
• Manage performance, absence, training and all 1stline management responsibilities
• Ensure quality systems are followed and maintain an audit-ready environment
• Investigate quality issues and implement preventative improvements
• Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the shift
