Independent Scrutineer for Safeguarding Partnership

Durham County Council is seeking an Independent Scrutineer for the Durham Safeguarding Children Partnership. The role involves 15–20 days of scrutiny activity per year over a three-year tenure, with responsibility for robust challenge and recommendations for improvement.

You will engage with Education, the VCSE sector, and a well-staffed business unit to embed a culture of continuous learning and child-centered practice.
