This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and who can lead a team to achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.

Our service supports individuals with a range of complex needs, and we are looking for a manager who can balance strong leadership, effective risk management & regulatory compliance with a genuinely person-centred approach.

About the role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of our 19-apartment supported living scheme. You will lead our team to maintain the highest quality of service, ensuring that people we support receive a safe, caring, responsive, effective & well-led care and support service.

You will:

  • Provide strong, visible & compassionate leadership
  • Ensure the service operates in accordance with regulatory best practice including CQC
  • Maintain a strong focus on keeping people safe and healthy by managing risk and positive risk taking.
  • Ensure support plans and risk assessments are co-produced, accurate and outcome focused and reviewed to reflect changing needs.
  • Work collaboratively with mental health practitioners, social care professionals, commissioning teams, and other MDT professionals.
  • Support those we support to develop the skills and confidence to lead full, independent lives within their community.
  • Lead & develop a skilled, motivated and accountable staff team.
  • Monitor quality through internal audits, observation of practice, feedback, reviews and team supervision.
  • Ensure internal and external reporting protocols are followed and prescribed actions completed in a timely manner.

  • Manage resources by effective recruitment, staff deployment, training and development.

About you

We are looking for someone who is an experienced and confident care professional with a strong understanding of supporting adults with mental health needs and complex presentations.

Most importantly we are looking for a leader who understands that good care is more than compliance. You will be someone who can build trust, develop people and create a culture where teams feel valued and able to take ownership whilst ensuring the people we support are at the heart of every decision.

You will have the confidence to advocate on behalf of those we support, be able to challenge poor values and practice, have the curiosity to ask questions, and the determination to continually improve your team and service.

If you are an experienced care leader who is passionate about supporting people with mental health and learning disability to achieve greater independence and live full and active lives, we would love to hear from you.

Positive Experience & Strong Values Are Essential… Our Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate.

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Service Manager within a care setting.
