Overview

In this leadership role at Moneybox, you will shape treasury strategy and drive best-in-class governance and operations. You’ll partner with senior leaders to align liquidity, capital deployment, and risk with the company’s growth and culture. You’ll leverage technology to automate processes, support cross-functional initiatives, and ensure robust regulatory footing. Responsibilities

• Define and own treasury strategy and liquidity framework
• Oversee day-to-day treasury operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Design KPIs and risk frameworks to ensure clear governance and confidence in decision-making
• Drive strategic automation to reduce manual friction and implement the tech strategy
• Cultivate banking and counterparty relationships aligned with the company mission
• Collaborate cross-functionally to break down silos and achieve commercial outcomes
• Take ownership of regulatory reporting (ICARA, MIF) and ensure compliance
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership (M&A, funding, IPO readiness)
• Participate in Treasury Management Committee debates to steer decisions

Key requirements

• Professional qualification: ACA, CFA, or ACT
• Liquidity management expertise and experience deploying significant capital
• Data translation: turning datasets into commercially actionable insights
• Regulatory navigation experience (ICARA, ICAAP, ILAAP)
• CASS compliance knowledge
• People leadership and mentoring track record
