Job Description Quantity Surveyor n Location: Cambridge, CB22 3JH Salary: Competitive, DOE Contract: Full time, Permanent n Build Your Future with Dockerill Group, at Dockerill Groundworks Ltd n At Dockerill’s, we are entering an exciting phase of growth again. n With the order book filling up for the next 4 years, we are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team at our Cambridge headquarters. n Whether you are an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years’ experience or a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the group, where your contribution will make a real impact. n We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in groundworks or civil engineering, although this isn’t essential. What matters most is your commercial expertise, drive, and desire to grow alongside the business. n The Opportunity n As part of our Commercial and Procurement Team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful financial delivery of projects across the East of England and surrounding regions. n You will work closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are commercially managed from inception through to final account. n As our Quantity Surveyor you will: n n Provide commercial support across groundworks and civil engineering projects. n Manage both lump sum and re-measure contracts. n Prepare interim valuations, final accounts and monthly forecasts. n Identify, price and manage variations. n Monitor project costs and forecast cost to completion. n Support risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle. n Liaise with clients, consultants and third parties on all commercial matters. n Negotiate agreements, valuations and final accounts. n Ensure procurement activities remain within project budgets and commercial objectives. n Help improve commercial performance and profitability across projects. n n What We’re Looking For n To be successful in this role you must have: n n Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. n Minimum 3 years’ Quantity Surveying experience. n Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills. n Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. n Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships. n n It would be great if you had: n n Experience within civil engineering and/or groundworks projects. n RICS qualified or currently working towards accreditation. n Experience managing contracts, valuations and final accounts within a contractor environment. n n Why Join Dockerill Group n n Be part of an ambitious and growing business. n Opportunity to influence exciting new ventures in groundworks and construction. n Clear progression opportunities as the company expands. n Work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the East of England. n Join a supportive team where your ideas, expertise and development are valued. n Competitive salary tailored to your experience and level. n n Ready for Your Next Challenge n Apply today and become part of Dockerill Groundworks exciting future. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
