Job Description Electrical Project Manager n Milton Keynes | Up to £75,000 | Company Car or Car Allowance | Bonus | Permanent n Electrical Building Services | M&E | Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment n Up to £75,000 basic salary | Company car or car allowance | Bonus | Established contractor | Strong project pipeline | Long-term progression n An established and growing M&E contractor is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join its Milton Keynes team. The business has a strong pipeline of commercial work and delivers electrical and wider building services projects across the region. You will join a close-knit team where decisions are made quickly, senior management is accessible and you will have the freedom to run your projects properly. n You will manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to handover, taking responsibility for procurement, programmes, installation, testing, commissioning and commercial performance. Projects include commercial fit-outs, CAT A and CAT B refurbishments, design and build schemes, electrical infrastructure upgrades and specialist building services installations. It is a hands-on role with plenty of ownership and a varied workload. n The Role n n Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover n Take control of procurement, programmes, installation, testing and commissioning n Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, suppliers and site teams n Monitor budgets, variations, valuations, forecasts and project performance n Work closely with clients, consultants, main contractors and the wider design team n Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes and project documentation n Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, architectural and structural packages n Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover n Keep quality, health and safety, RAMS, permits and CDM requirements on track n Identify technical, commercial and programme risks and deal with issues quickly n n What You’ll Need n n Experience working as an Electrical Project Manager within building services, M&E or electrical contracting n A background delivering commercial fit-out, refurbishment or design and build projects n Good technical knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms, structured cabling, security systems, UPS, standby power, BMS integration, testing and commissioning n Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, programmes and procurement n Commercial awareness, including budgets, variations and cost control n Good knowledge of current UK electrical standards, health and safety and CDM requirements n SMSTS and a CSCS or ECS card n An electrical qualification such as an HNC, HND or degree would be useful, although strong practical experience will also be considered n Based within commuting distance of Milton Keynes and able to travel to project locations when required n n Salary & Package n n Basic salary up to £75,000 n Company car or car allowance n Bonus n Secure pipeline of commercial work n Varied CAT A, CAT B, refurbishment, design and build, and infrastructure projects n Visible role with direct access to senior decision-makers n Supportive team and a straightforward working environment n Training, development and scope to take on more responsibility as the business grows n n Apply now if you are an Electrical Project Manager looking for a well-paid, long-term role with an established M&E contractor in Milton Keynes. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
