Job Description Morson Edge are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Production Engineer to work for one of our Aerospace/Defence clients based on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. This is a contract position for 6 months initially with the potential to go permanent. n Key Responsibilities n n Provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing and assembly operations. n Develop and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace mechanical components and assemblies. n Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, process sheets, routings and bills of materials. n Support NPIfrom design through to production. n Conduct manufacturing feasibility and producibility assessments. n Investigate production problems using structured root-cause analysis techniques. n Implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate recurring manufacturing issues. n Support non-conformance investigations and disposition activities. n Work with Design Engineering to resolve drawing, tolerance and manufacturability issues. n Develop and optimise mechanical assembly processes. n Implement lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives. n Ensure production processes comply with company procedures and applicable aerospace standards. n Maintain accurate engineering and manufacturing documentation. n n Essential Qualifications & Experience n n Experience in a electrical manufacturing or production engineering environment. n Good understanding of electrical manufacturing and assembly processes. n Experience providing technical support directly to production. n n Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to engineering problems. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
