Job Description Catering Gas Engineer – Midlands n COMPANY OVERVIEW n Out client are nationwide facilities and commercial building maintenance provider, headquartered in North East England. n The company delivers planned, reactive and project services across gas, heating, plumbing, HVAC, air conditioning, electrical, catering and BMS and the company operates 24/7 across the UK, supporting sectors including retail, healthcare, education, defence, industrial and commercial . JOB PURPOSE n Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Gas Engineer to join there engineering team, covering a classic midlands territory. n The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial catering gas equipment across a range of customer sites, including restaurants, hotels, pubs, schools, care facilities and commercial kitchens. JOB RESPONSBILITIES n n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial catering equipment. n Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on commercial gas appliances and associated equipment. n Install, commission and test commercial catering gas appliances and systems. n Work on commercial ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, boilers, water heaters and other catering appliances. n Carry out gas safety checks and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. n Complete servicing, maintenance and reactive breakdown work. n Identify additional repair or replacement requirements and communicate these clearly to customers and management. n Complete job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation accurately. n Ensure all work complies with current gas safety legislation and manufacturer requirements. n Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times. n Provide professional customer service while working on client premises. n Work independently and manage daily workloads effectively. n Participate in an on-call or emergency breakdown rota where required. n SKILLS & EXPERIENCE n n Proven experience as a Commercial/Catering Gas Engineer . n Current Gas Safe registration. n CCCN1 – Commercial Catering Gas qualification. n Relevant COMCAT competencies for the appliances being worked on. n Demonstrable experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment. n Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. n Good understanding of commercial gas installations and safety requirements. n Full UK driving licence. n Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. n Good communication and customer service skills. n Strong commitment to health and safety. n Salary & BENEFITS n n £45k Salary n Travel Time Paid n Company vehicle and fuel provision. n Company mobile phone/tablet. n Ongoing training and development. n Overtime and additional earning opportunities. n Stable, long-term employment. n Varied commercial catering engineering work. n Supportive engineering and management team. n 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, subject to company policy. n Pension scheme. n n If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with you’re up to date CV to arrange a confidential call back or contact Kim on 07498 889444 n n JBRP1_UKTJ
