Job Description JWB Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Senior Commercial Gas Engineer to work over the South West of England. n Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Gas & HVAC Engineer to join their team, supporting a portfolio of sites across South West England. This senior-level position is ideal for an engineer confident working independently across a wide range of commercial environments. n You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems, air conditioning equipment, and oil-fired plant. Sites include healthcare facilities, retail premises, education settings, and wider commercial buildings, so professionalism, strong communication, and consistently high standards of workmanship are essential. n Key Responsibilities n n n Installation, service, and repair of commercial gas systems n n Planned and reactive maintenance of gas and air conditioning systems n n Work on oil burners, boilers, and tanked oil systems n n Delivering high-quality work across healthcare, retail, education, and commercial sites n n Ensuring full compliance with gas safety, F-Gas, OFTEC, and industry standards n n Representing the company professionally on client sites across the South West n n Experience & Qualifications n n n Minimum 10 years’ experience in the HVAC or commercial gas industry n n Clean UK driving licence n n Current DBS or ability to pass standard and enhanced DBS checks n n Domestic & Commercial Gas qualifications (Natural Gas & LPG) n n OFTEC certification or strong experience with oil-fired systems (Desired) n n F-Gas certification or strong working knowledge of A/C service and maintenance n n The Package: n n n Up to £53,000 basic salary (DOE) n n Door-to-door pay n n Stable, long-term role with a respected regional employer n n Varied work across multiple commercial sectors n n Ongoing training and development across gas, HVAC, and oil disciplines n n n JBRP1_UKTJ
