Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) – £24ph + Supernumerary Hours

£24.00 per hour | Supernumerary Hours | Permanent | Full-Time | Immediate Interviews

Are you an experienced RGN ready to step into a Clinical Lead role?

If you’re looking for more than another standard nursing position, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

We are recruiting an experienced and clinically confident Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established nursing home as their Clinical Lead Nurse.

Offering £24.00 per hour plus supernumerary hours, this position gives you the opportunity to remain clinically involved while having dedicated time to lead the nursing team, support staff, oversee care standards and help drive clinical excellence throughout the home.

Immediate interviews are available for the right candidate.

Why Consider This Clinical Lead Position?

This is an opportunity to take a genuine step forward in your nursing career.

Rather than spending your entire working week on the floor, your supernumerary hours will give you dedicated time to concentrate on the clinical leadership side of the home.

You will work closely with the Home Manager and nursing team, helping to ensure residents receive consistently high standards of safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

For an experienced Senior Nurse or RGN who is ready for greater responsibility, this could be an excellent next career move.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing strong clinical leadership across the home

  • Supporting, mentoring and developing Nurses and Care Teams

  • Overseeing care plans and risk assessments

  • Medication management and clinical governance

  • Completing and supporting clinical audits

  • Monitoring residents’ changing clinical needs

  • Ensuring accurate and compliant clinical documentation

  • Supporting safeguarding and infection prevention procedures

  • Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals

  • Communicating effectively with residents and their families

  • Supporting staff development and clinical competencies

  • Maintaining high standards of person-centred care

  • Working closely with the Home Manager to continually develop clinical standards

Are You the Nurse We’re Looking For?

To be considered, you will need:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification

  • Active UK NMC PIN – essential

  • Strong clinical knowledge and confidence

  • Nursing home or elderly care experience

  • Excellent medication management skills

  • Strong care planning and risk assessment experience

  • The confidence to support and lead Nurses and Care Teams

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and clinical governance

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A compassionate and resident-focused approach

Previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager would be highly advantageous.

However, we are also interested in hearing from experienced RGNs or Senior Nurses who are ready to take that next step into a Clinical Lead position.

What Will You Get?

  • £24.00 per hour

  • Supernumerary hours

  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Genuine clinical leadership responsibility

  • Opportunity to develop your management and leadership experience

  • Support from the Home Manager and wider team

  • Established nursing home environment

  • Opportunity to make a real impact on clinical standards

  • Immediate interviews available

Ready for Your Next Step?

If you are an experienced RGN with an active UK NMC PIN and you’re ready for a Clinical Lead position where you can use both your clinical and leadership skills, we want to hear from you.

Apply today with your CV.

Suitable candidates will be contacted promptly, and immediate interviews are available for the right person.
