Quantity Surveyor – HS2 Stations

Overview

In diesem Role unterstützen Sie das Commercial Team bei der Umsetzung eines großen Rail-Infrastrukturprojekts. Sie arbeiten eng mit Site-Teams zusammen, steuern Procurement-Strategien, überwachen Cashflow und Zahlungen, und sichern vertragliche Compliance. Ihre Tätigkeit trägt maßgeblich zur Profitabilität und termingerechten Abwicklung des Projekts bei. Pay / Benefits

• salary: 45,000 plus benefits package

Responsibilities

• Set profitability targets with the team and develop procurement strategy
• Procurement, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts according to strategy
• Secure favorable payments from client to maximise cash flow
• Ensure contract-aligned payments and proper insurance/bonds/guarantees
• Produce CVCs, cash flow, and end-day forecasts
• Monitor progress against programme and support site management
• Prepare and agree internal/external valuations and final accounts
• Participate in risk reviews and problem solving
• Provide commercial guidance to the team and influence dispute resolution
• Ensure timely compliance with contractual obligations

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
• UK-based experience with main contractors on station projects
• At least 5 years commercial experience
• Familiar with NEC contracts
