Account Manager – Trade Credit Insurance

Location : Belfast (Hybrid)

We have an opportunity for a Client Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of Trade Credit Insurance clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Insurance professional to develop their career, working for a global business.

The Role:

• Renewal and ongoing servicing of a portfolio of existing clients
• Ensuring records are fully and properly maintained on Goldmine database;
• Development of relationships by ensuring face to face meetings are held.
• Training of clients on basic policy administration;
• Supporting/advising clients on credit limit appeals, overdue accounts, negotiation of claims, and submission of turnover declarations;
• Timely negotiation of client renewals
• Working with new business team to identify target companies and grow sales
• Managing and developing underwriter and other professional relationships

Skills:

• Must have Trade Credit Insurance experience.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• Ideally familiar with credit insurers’ on-line systems and proficient in MS Outlook and Word.
