Your new company Hays are partnering with a successful and growing Northern Ireland organisation to recruit a Senior HR Advisor for their Belfast team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a well-established business where you will play a key role in supporting senior leaders, managing complex people issues and delivering practical HR solutions.
Your new role As Senior HR Advisor, you will provide expert HR support across a broad range of employee relations and organisational matters. Working closely with business leaders, you will manage complex casework, support change initiatives and provide commercially focused advice that helps drive positive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
- Advising managers on employment law and HR best practice.
- Supporting organisational change projects, including restructuring, consultation, redundancy and TUPE processes.
- Preparing HR documentation and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing trusted, pragmatic advice.
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Significant experience in a HR Advisory, HR Business Partnering or HR consultancy role.
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters from start to finish.
- Strong practical experience of TUPE and redundancy processes, including consultation and documentation.
- Up-to-date employment law knowledge and the ability to apply legislation in a practical and commercial way.
- Confidence influencing, coaching and constructively challenging managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD is desirable.
- Full UK driving license and access to car
