IT Technician

We’re looking for an experienced IT Technician for a temporary, on-site contract in Belfast. You’ll provide hands-on break/fix support, troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues and work directly with users, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.

The Role

• Provide first and second-line IT support
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Carry out laptop, desktop and peripheral break/fix
• Set up and replace IT equipment
• Support Windows and Microsoft 365
• Log and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system
• Escalate more complex technical issues
• Provide clear, professional support to users

Essential Criteria

• Previous IT Technician, Desktop Support or Service Desk experience
• Strong hardware and break/fix skills
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident dealing directly with non-technical users

Desirable Criteria

• IT-related qualification or certification
• Active Directory experience
• Experience with device deployment or endpoint management
