Overview

As a Procurement Risk & Resilience Specialist, you will shape and execute risk management and resilience practices across the Procurement organisation, turning data into actionable insights. You’ll build and maintain frameworks, supporting informed decisions and strengthening resilience. Operating as a centre of excellence, you’ll help internal partners identify and mitigate financial, ethical, operational, and supply chain risks. This role offers exposure to a cross-functional, mission-driven environment within Edgewing and the broader BAE Systems ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and operate risk management processes, databases, and supporting documents
• Act as the primary analytics capability for risk and resilience insights, converting inputs into actionable intelligence
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance methodologies and advise stakeholders
• Support rapid risk identification, escalation, and mitigation during urgent events
• Contribute to design and continuous improvement of risk and resilience frameworks as a centre of excellence
• Produce high-quality analysis, reports, and recommendations for leadership decision-making

Key requirements

• Proven experience in risk management and analytics within a procurement environment
• Analytical and data processing capabilities with the ability to translate qualitative inputs into quantitative insights
• Ability to analyse complex information and deliver structured recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Experience in highly regulated, security-sensitive environments with understanding of procurement, supply chain, logistics, and operations
