Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function across all projects, including contract management, cost control, and risk management
• Provide commercial guidance and governance to operational teams
• Oversee procurement activities and supply chain strategy
• Manage and develop the Bid Manager
• Support tendering activities and pipeline growth
• Work closely with estimating teams to ensure alignment on pricing and bidding strategies
• Drive commercial performance and support strategic business objectives

Key requirements

• Experience as a Commercial Manager, Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within highways, infrastructure or construction
• Strong background in contract management, cost control and commercial risk
• Experience of procurement and supply chain management
• Proven involvement in successful tendering and bidding activities
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required
