SAP Finance Functional Senior Manager

Overview

You will lead all-round SAP finance design and drive large, multi-workstream SAP finance transformations for clients, aligning SAP modules to the CFO agenda. As the senior design authority, you shape end-to-end finance transformations and guide clients through design, build, test, deployment and run phases, including post-live stabilization. You’ll work closely with enterprise architects and senior stakeholders, shaping propositions and market differentiators in an AI-enabled delivery model. This role blends deep SAP finance expertise with leadership to accelerate value realization and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance design authority across programmes and make critical trade-offs between fit-to-standard and client differentiation
• Execute large, multi-workstream SAP finance programmes from discovery through run, including stabilisation and optimization after go-live
• Own end-to-end SAP finance design, particularly FI/CO modules and R2R, with knowledge of Group Reporting, Central Finance and Project Systems
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and integration teams on SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP landscapes
• Shape propositions, support bids and articulate a clear point of view on SAP finance market direction
• Lead senior client forums, design authorities and steering committees and coach team members

Key requirements

• Experience leading large-scale SAP finance programmes end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of FI/CO modules and their integration
• Ability to act as design authority and influence senior stakeholders
• Commercial acumen with scope, contracts and account growth awareness
• SAP certification and professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Ability to work in an AI-first delivery model and drive transformation
