Global IT Tech Area Lead & Senior Director – IT & Business Platforms

Overview

In this role you lead BCG’s enterprise business platform ecosystem, anchored by ServiceNow, to deliver reliable, secure, and AI-ready platforms at scale. You will own platform operations, governance, budgets, and vendor relationships, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure platforms unlock real value. You’ll shape technical direction, oversee 24/7 support, and drive continuous improvement while aligning platforms with the firm’s strategy. This is a chance to influence how BCg operates and delivers digital capability across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the business platform portfolio, with ServiceNow as the flagship platform
• Oversee end-to-end platform operations: maintenance, patching, releases, change management
• Lead 24/7 support, incident management, and post-incident reviews
• Manage financials and vendor relationships, including contracts and SLAs
• Ensure security posture and regulatory compliance across platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into platform capabilities
• Lead and develop technical teams and enable 24/7 coverage
• Shape future platform ecosystem, pursuing AI-enabled modernization

Key requirements

• 12+ years in senior technical leadership for enterprise platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow or similar enterprise platform
• Proven experience with platform budgets, vendor management, and cost optimization
• Experience leading 24/7 technical support operations and incident management
• Strong security and compliance track record for handling sensitive data
• Experience building leading technical teams and managing external vendors
• Forward-looking technology vision including agentic AI and automation
• ITIL certification or equivalent; ServiceNow certifications are a plus
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
