Financial Reporting Manager

Overview

In this Financial Reporting Manager role, you lead accounting, tax and internal controls within a complex, multi-entity business. You’ll oversee accounting operations and consolidate financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP, while partnering with senior stakeholders and external auditors. You’ll drive finance transformation, build a high-performing team and ensure robust governance and compliance. This is a senior, strategic position with exposure to high-impact projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP and statutory requirements
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and senior stakeholders
• Provide technical accounting guidance and maintain tax/reporting oversight
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and controls
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team in a multi-entity environment
• Support finance transformation initiatives

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Strong technical accounting background
• Experience managing in a complex multi-entity environment
• Proven track record in leading high-performing finance teams
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Experience with statutory accounts, audits, consolidations and tax activities
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive process improvement
