Senior HGV Vehicle Technician – Diagnostics & MOT

Newcastle City Council (City Transport) is seeking a time-served motor vehicle technician to maintain, diagnose and repair its Heavy Goods Vehicle fleet 3.5t and above. The role is based in the Heavy Goods vehicle workshop at Newington Road and requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a category B licence.

You will work 37 hours per week on a permanent basis with benefits including flexible working and opportunities for overtime. A D1 or C licence is advantageous.
