Multiskilled Service Engineer

Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Service Engineerto join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Walsall area.

THE ROLE

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
• Undertake TIG Welding predominately on stainless steel and aluminium to repair machinery and products
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance and inspections
• Mechanical installation of machinery to manufacturer specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals
• Completing service documentation accurately and in a timely manner

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled mechanical role
• Must have proven experience in TIG welding
• Ability to fault-find across mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC/control systems
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and service documentation
• Full UK driving licence (site work is a requirement of this role – both internationally and nationwide)
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude

HOURS OF WORK

Monday to Thursday 07:00am – 16:00pm

Friday 07:00am – 13:30pm

PAY RATE

£16.50 – £18.00ph. However, negotiable depending on experience (OVERTIME PAID AT TIME AND A THIRD)
