Support Worker Waking Nights

Jane Lewis is looking for experienced Registered Nurses in Dunstable to support someone with a spinal cord injury and an acquired brain injury in their own home.
They live alone with their friendly dog, who is an important part of their life, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs. Their care needs include support with hoisting and a feeding tube.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work 3 days a week, however occasional night shifts may be required. All shifts are double staffed, so you’ll always work alongside another member of the care team.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing needs and delivering high-quality nursing care
- Administering medication and treatments safely
- Developing, following and reviewing individual care plans
- Monitoring and responding to changes in a person’s condition
- Working with other healthcare professionals and keeping accurate clinical records
What you’ll need:
- A valid NMC registration
- At least six months of UK nursing experience within the last two years
- The right to work in the UK
- Strong clinical, communication and decision-making skills
- A reliable and professional approach to patient care
