Security Sales Specialist, Google Cloud (English)

Overview

In this role, you will drive territory development and promote Google Cloud Security to new and existing customers, aiming to meet quarterly goals. You will build pipelines, manage sales cycles from lead generation to onboarding, and shape long-term customer strategy as a trusted advisor. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a superior customer experience and provide timely forecasts to regional leads. This position places you at the intersection of security and cloud, enabling transformational outcomes for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plans to promote Google Cloud Security and meet quarterly targets
• Build and manage sales pipelines from lead generation through onboarding
• Foster and maintain strategic relationships, acting as trusted advisor to accounts
• Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Engineering, GCP, Customer Success, Channels, Product, and Engineering to represent customer needs
• Represent Security in regional forecasts and meetings; provide timely performance updates in Salesforce and other tools

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity or cloud space
• Fluent English for UK and Ireland client management

• Executive relationship building (C-level engagement)
• Empathy and collaborative mindset
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and cloud markets
• Understanding of the security partner ecosystem
• Experience with data and analytics transformation strategies
